Kathy Calvert celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Canadian government’s only working horse ranch (it is just outside Banff) in ‘Ya Ha Tinda.’


Rachel Seigel explores the history and social customs of the Nisga’a people in her brightly illustrated and informative book ‘Nisga’a Nation.’


Preschool Story Time is this Wednesday at 11:00 am, 1:15 pm, & 6:30 pm, and Toddler Story Time is 10:00 and 11:00 am. Both will be all about “Sports & Hockey”.  Baby Laptime Thursday at 10 am.

Please note there is always a Wednesday evening Story Time at 6:30 pm for ages 3 to 9 and their caregivers. Perfect way to unwind.

The Friends of the Library are gearing up for the Audio Visual & Magazine Sale on Feb. 16th and 17th in the Manual Training School.    Friends members may attend on Friday, Feb. 16th from 5 pm to 7 pm.  Sat. Feb. 17th is for everyone and operates from 9 am to 4 pm.

Your donations for this event at most welcome.  We are accepting, DVDs, CDs, Audio Books, Records of all ages. Also magazines published within the last three years (2015 & newer).   Please bring these items to the circulation desk in the Library. Here’s your chance to declutter your home and help the Friends help the Library.
