‘Prairie Fires’ is a brand new biography of the much beloved Laura Ingalls Wilder and her daughter Rose; pieced together from newly released archives and unpublished manuscripts by Caroline Fraser, editor of the Little House books.
Michael Morpurgo retells ‘The Wizard of Oz’ from the dog’s point of view in ‘Toto.’
Preschool Story Time is this Wednesday at 11:00 am, 1:15 pm, & 6:30 pm, and Toddler Story Time is 10:00 and 11:00 am. Both will be all about “Sloths”. Baby Laptime Thursday at 10 am.
Please note there is always a Wednesday evening Story Time at 6:30 pm for ages 3 to 9 and their caregivers. Perfect way to unwind.
The Friends of the Library are gearing up for the Audio Visual & Magazine Sale on Feb. 16th and 17th in the Manual Training School. Friends members may attend on Friday, Feb. 16th from 5 pm to 7 pm. Sat. Feb. 17th is for everyone and operates from 9 am to 4 pm.
Your donations for this event at most welcome. We are accepting, DVDs, CDs, Audio Books, Records of all ages. Also magazines published within the last three years (2015 & newer). Please bring these items to the circulation desk in the Library. Here’s your chance to declutter your home and help the Friends help the Library. Please contact Marilyn at 250-489-625 for details.
