At the Library for December 27th, 2017

Updated 2017/12/27

‘Waking the Spirit’ is Andrew Schulman’s tale of how Bach’s St. Matthew Passion played through headphones brought him out of brain-damaging coma. Since then he has dedicated his life to playing music in surgical ICU departments.

Jennifer Mathieu tells the story of a teenage girl who starts a feminist revolution against her high school’s football team in ‘Moxie.’

Please note the Library will be closed this Saturday, December 23rd through till Monday, December 26th, and again the Library will be closed at 3pm on Sunday, December 31st, and will reopen on Monday, January 2nd for regular hours. We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season.

FOOD FOR FINES: For the entire month of December, the Library will be accepting donations of non-perishable food as payment for overdue fines. One item will be worth one dollar of fines. Any canned or boxed non-perishable food items will be accepted. All donations will be delivered to the food bank throughout the holiday season. This is a great way to get rid of those pesky overdue fines while helping others in need.
