New up-to-date and authoritative legal references are new this week, including ‘The Charter of Rights and Freedoms,’ ‘An Advocacy Primer,’ and ‘Canadian Family Law.’
Pittacus Lore returns to his Lorien Legacies series with ‘Generation One.’
Preschool Story Time is this Wednesday at 11:00 am, 1:15 pm, & 6:30 pm, and Toddler Story Time is 10:00 and 11:00 am. Both will be all about Dragons! Baby Laptime Thursday at 10 am.
Please note there is always a Wednesday evening Story Time at 6:30 pm for ages 3 to 9 and their caregivers. Perfect way to unwind.
The Annual Fall Book Sale of the Friends of the Cranbrook Public Library and the Sunrise Rotary Club will be held at the Ktunaxa Gym from Nov. 22nd to Nov. 26th. The first day (Wed, Nov. 22nd) is for members only and a $10 membership to the Friends can be purchased at the door. Members also receive a 10% discount at this sale every day except Sunday.
Doors open daily at 11:00 am Wed., Thur., Friday and Saturday. Closing time is 5:00 pm on Wed., Fri., and Sat. Thursday is open until 9:00 pm for evening shopping.
The last day of the sale, Sunday Nov. 26th is the very popular BAG SALE. Bring your Friends/Library bag and fill it for $5 or pay $10 to receive your Friends/Library bag and fill it up. No other bags may be used for this sale. Sunday times are 9:30 am to 11:30 am. There are great reads at great prices!!
Your donations of books, CDs, DVDs and audio books should be brought to the circulation desk in the Library anytime. For further info call Marilyn at 250-489-6254.

Those interested in apps for their phones may want to check out BookMyne: The Bookmyne mobile app provides access to the library catalogue on your mobile device. BookMyne allows you to search for items in our collection, log in and review your account information, place holds, and renew materials.
BookMyne is available for free in both the Google Play store and the Apple iTunes store. Once the app is downloaded and installed, your device will prompt you to allow it to use location services to search for the closest Bookmyne-compatible library.
