‘Mrs. Sherlock Holmes’ is the amazing true story of a female travelling detective who solved numerous cases no one else wanted, during a time (early 1900s) this profession was no open to women.

 

‘Star Wars Rogue One: Ultimate Visual Guide’ is a large and brightly illustrated to all the characters, planets, spaceships, and weapons to one of the best Star Wars films ever made.’

 

Preschool Story Time is this Wednesday at 11:00 am, 1:15 pm, & 6:30 pm, and Toddler Story Time is 10:00 and 11:00 am. Both will be all about being silly!

 

New this year is Baby Laptime on Fridays at 1 pm. This program is for babies who are not yet walking so a specific age is not really set—best approximation is under 1 year of age.  Since we do not have daycare for older siblings we ask that parents who have babies and children who are walking come to the toddler storytime instead of the baby laptime.

Come to the Mini Book Sale of the Friends of the Cranbrook Public Library at the Manual Training School adjacent to the library. Friday, March 31^st is for Friends of the Cranbrook Public Library MEMBERS ONLY from 5 pm to 7 pm. Saturday, April 1^st EVERYONE is welcome from 9 am to 4 pm. Discover loads of new releases, gardening and other outdoor pursuits, fiction, mystery, children’s books and much more. Your book, DVD and CD donations are welcome anytime. Pocket books are especially appreciated.  Please bring donations to the Circulation desk in the Library. For info contact Marilyn at 250-489-6254.
