Column: At the Library for Sept 28/09
From: Cranbrook Public Library

What parent doesn’t think his or her child is special? Yet if the child is told they are special, it will ruin them. This is the main thrust in Po Bronson’s NUTURESHOCK, a compilation of research suggesting 90 percent of adult’s instinct about childrearing is wrong. This is a very readable and often surprising look at parenting beliefs.
